Hotels Deals - Tips
Where you decide to stay not only depends on the price you also have to take into account the facilities, location, food, and many other aspects.
The majority of hotels on The Strip do not include breakfast, most charge you $12-$20 per day if you purchase in the hotel. Plenty of places sell breakfasts such as McDonalds, IHOP, etc.
Internet charges are usually $10 per day.
However, if you stay in place like Microtel, Hampton Inn, La Quinta, etc, breakfast & internet are included in the price.

Hotels like Circus Circus (mainly for families), the Stratosphere, are at the very North of The Strip, but are very reasonably priced. Cheapest hotel at the South of The Strip is Excalibur.
Hotels such as Palms, Palace Station, New Orleans, are off The Strip, so make sure you check the locations prior to booking.
If you hire a car however, you can stay away from the strip, as it does not take long to drive through Las Vegas, and hotels in the surrounding area can be cheaper, and offer more.
Although crime is below average in Las Vegas, do not do anything you wouldn't do in a major UK city. |

Most hotels have been updated in recent years with cable TV, flat screens, etc. In most hotels you get free local phone calls, and a few free US calls, check at the desk. Some hotels allow you to check your bill on the TV.
The Strip itself is about 5 miles long, the Southern part by the airport includes the Mandalay Bay, Excalibur and Luxor, and the Northern part has Circus Cirus and the Stratosphere. The Strip Map
